Our EGAL’ Asso project: inclusion and diversity
- Raise awareness and support small and medium associations in implementing gender equality and the fight against discrimination
- Strengthen the skills of professionals and volunteers on gender-related issues.
- Promote inclusive practices both internally (governance, HR) and externally (relations with the public).
- Highlight existing good practices in Europe through transnational cooperation.
- Intersectional approach: inclusion of all gender identities and consideration of intersecting forms of discrimination.
- Co-creation: involvement of users (associations) in the creation / development of the tools.
- Change-management approach: diagnostics, training/support, experimentation, and sharing of practices.
- European dimension: valorisation and translation of the tools into three languages (FR, EN, GR).

A collection of good practices in small and medium associations promoting gender equality, presented through portraits and methodologies. Leader : PLS (BE)
A 20-page report that presents the main challenges identified, describes the tools developed within the project, and formulates concrete strategic recommendations for European decision-makers and associations.
The tools cover several key topics, including:- pay
- recruitment
- parental leave
- menstrual leave
- sexism
- MdA Tourcoing : Project coordination, dissemination, methodological support, communication.
- CORIF : Gender equality expertise, design of educational tools, lead on the Escape Game.
- PLS : European advocacy, lead on the White Paper, quality assurance and evaluation.
- HYP : Youth and women engagement, graphic production, lead on the gallery of inspiring portraits.
Small and medium-sized associations (0-25 employees), and in particular:
- Network leaders
- Actors in integration, culture, and sports (gendered sectors)
- Managers, employees, volunteers
- Changes in practices within small and medium associations.
- Adoption of the tools by organisations and networks.
- Increased awareness among European decision-makers.
- Dissemination of tools beyond partners through events and communication channels (website) .
- Free and long-term access to the tools created (Gallery of Inspiring Portraits, Escape Game, White Paper) for at least five years.
- Adaptation and transfer of the outputs to other fields (youth, sports, environment, etc.).
- Continued cooperation between partners and dissemination of the tools within their European networks.
- Wanting to inspire other Erasmus+ projects and increase the impact among decision-makers and associations.
